Filming Day Friday

Posted on Posted in Understanding the motorsport industry

A short post today just to keep you up to date with a good opportunity to see a Formula 1 car in action for free this season.

Renault F1 have announced that they will be running a RS16 F1 car for a filming day at the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit this Friday 6th May. Fans who can make it to the circuit will be allowed access to go and watch from the pit straight Grandstand completely free.

If you are in the area and want to see a Grand Prix car running without having to pay the not inconsiderable price of a Grand Prix ticket then this is an opportunity not to be missed.

I’m led to to believe that at least 1 other team is planning to run their car at the same time so you might get a reasonable amount of track action. The circuit is open from 9am to 5pm.

From track action to blog action

As you may be aware, www.jobinf1.com has been very quiet of late as I am working on a new and hopefully much better site which will replace it later in the year. The new site will contain new features and bring together some of the best content from this outgoing blog with new material in response to some of the many requests that you have provided me with over the past few months.
